We do this in three ways:

We help application publishers with consumer demand
make money by
presenting offers for other relevant applications during the
installation process.
II.
We use this application demand as consumer traffic for our
clients seeking
increased distribution for their applications that have an
economic model sufficient to pay for distribution.
III.
We give users the opportunity to install
applications by
accepting additional, relevant applications during the
installation process.
So, if a company has a lot of web traffic with demand for their
free applications, we help them monetize that traffic.
And/or if a company has a strong economic model, we
provide significant traffic to help them increase distribution.
Users win by getting useful applications if they so
choose.
Over the past 9 years, we have developed a proprietary
installation management system called InstallIQ.
InstallIQ allows us to bring the different needs of
various business partners together using a network approach.
We call this W3i’s Application Network.
I.
InstallIQ manages the installation of applications for
publishers with user traffic needing revenue and while doing
that, offers the user additional applications if they so choose.
II.
These additional applications are the “product” of a different
client that has an economic model that can pay for each
installation.
III.
The payment goes toward meeting the monetization needs of the
publisher.
IV.
The consumer traffic generated by the publisher meets the
distribution needs of the paying client.
V.
The user gets the application they want for free and the
opportunity to review additional applications.
We keep part of the payment as a fee for bringing the
transaction together as well as services including targeting,
reporting, and creative along with dedicated, consultative
account management .
The transaction amounts aren’t very large, but we do this
hundreds of thousands of times per day!
